Serena Brancale is electric, virtuoso and volcanic: these three adjectives will give you just a hint of this new overwhelming Italian talent, with a versatile voice, able to easily interpret soul, pop, funk, jazz and R&B. She handles a great variety of music genres with creativity.
Serena Brancale is a singer, a pianist and a percussionist. In her concerts she plays the electronic keyboard with pad and loop station, playing intimate and intense pieces solo.
Born and raised in a family of musicians, she started playing the violin at the age of four. But her vibrant versatility brings her to experiment modern dance, flamenco, drama, theatre- dance.
Serena Brancale has also appeared in cinema and television; she took part in the sitcom “Sarà la fame” and in the films “Mio cognato” and “Da che parte stai”.
Serena improved her vocal style studying with Gabriella Schiavone and studied piano with Pippo Lombardo. She also completed her jazz studies with Guido di Leone.
After her debut at Sanremo festival in 2015, she toured Italy with Il Volo and, in 2017, she was part of Mario Biondi’s tour called “The best soul tour”.
She formed the “Serena Brancale 4tet” with Alfonso Deidda, Dario Panza and Domenico Sanna.
In addition to her work as a songwriter and performer, she also dedicates herself to teaching at the Saint Louis College of Music in Rome and organizing workshops and seminars throughout Italy.
Like all artists today, she is very active in the world of social networks – in particular on Instagram and Facebook – where she tells, with irony, the background of the musical world and the lives of its protagonists with a series of videos.
For Visioninmusica Serena Brancale presents her latest project “Vita d’artista” which is also the title to her upcoming album.
